Privacy Policy

Last updated November 2026

This policy explains what information Buckaroo uses, why, and the choices you have. Buckaroo is made by Brink Studio LLC ("we", "us").

Information you give us

What we don't collect

How we use it

Only to run Buckaroo: showing your family's chores and balances, syncing them between the people in your family, sending invites you request, and providing support.

Who can see it

The people in your family, meaning you, the caretakers you invite and any kid devices you connect. Your data is stored with Google Firebase, which keeps it on our behalf. We never sell your information or share it for advertising.

Children

Buckaroo is designed for parents and caretakers. A grown-up creates the account and adds any information about their kids. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and kids don't need an account, email or phone number to use a connected device. Parents can review, change or delete their kids' information at any time in the app.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account in Settings, your account and family data are permanently deleted from our database right away. You can also ask us to delete it by emailing support@buckarootheapp.com.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to members of your family by our security rules. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can view, edit and delete your information in the app, remove caretakers and kid devices, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have other privacy rights. Contact us to use them.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date above and tell you in the app about significant changes.
