Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Brink Studio LLC ("we", "us") about your use of the Buckaroo app. By creating an account or using Buckaroo, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Buckaroo
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Children may use Buckaroo only through a family set up and supervised by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for their use.
2. What Buckaroo is, and isn't
- Buckaroo is a tool for tracking chores, allowance owed and payments you make outside the app.
- Buckaroo is not a bank, payment service or investment account. We never hold, send or receive money for you.
- "Investing" and growth figures are illustrative amounts based on the rate you choose. They aren't real returns and aren't financial advice.
3. Your account
Keep your sign-in secure and your information accurate. You're responsible for activity in your family, including by caretakers you invite and kid devices you connect. You can remove a caretaker or device at any time in Settings.
4. Your content
You own the information you add, such as names, photos and chores. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run Buckaroo for you and the people you share it with.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Buckaroo: no unlawful content, no attempts to access other families' data, and no interfering with how the app works.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
If Buckaroo offers paid features, purchases are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using Buckaroo and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are seriously broken.
8. Disclaimers
Buckaroo is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own records of anything important, such as amounts owed.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Buckaroo means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
